Connecting Trackless to your store

Trackless measures your store two ways. On open platforms it runs right on the server as a module - no JavaScript and no dependency on a browser snippet. Depending on the platform, server-side modules send traffic, orders, line items and on selected platforms also margins. On rented platforms, which run no third-party server code, you use a small tracking snippet. Both are designed without own analytics cookies; cookie-banner handling should be assessed against the full site setup. Your data stays on our EU server.

Server-side modules (most accurate)

For stores where you can install our module or plugin. They measure right on the server and do not depend on a browser tracking snippet; order line items and margins are listed only for modules that currently send them.

Guides for rented platforms

Rented solutions run no third-party server code, so measurement uses a small in-browser script. Pick your platform:

We are also talking with several rented platforms about an official plugin or a server-side connection. If the platform allows it, measurement there could run directly server-side, without depending on a browser script.

Business intelligence and custom reports

You can also load Trackless data into BI tools through the read-only API. The daily endpoint returns stable numeric fields and a continuous time series suitable for charts and summaries.

  • Looker Studio - each customer signs in with their own Google account and uses their own Trackless read-only token; the shared connector and template do not share credentials between customers. Connect Trackless. How the connection works

The connector is active. In the first version, one Google user connects one Trackless account at a time; multiple shops inside that account are supported.
